Devexperts
has announced the expansion of its team by hiring two financial industry veterans. Nick Mortimer will join as SVP of Business Development, and Peter Moore will become the new VP of Sales and Business Development for the Nordics region.
Michael
Babushkin, the Global CEO of the financial industry software and services provider, told Finance Magnates that they “bring an unparalleled wealth of experience and a stellar reputation” within the finance industry, particularly the FX/CFD industry.
Nick
Mortimer, the new SVP of Business Development, has 36 years of experience in
the FX and CFD sectors. He has previously worked with several firms
specializing in these industries, including notable names like MahiFX, CHF
Markets, and Marex, and had an earlier tenure at banking giant ABN AMRO.

extensive career encompasses significant leadership roles, most recently
serving as Managing Director at Abelee, where he excelled for nearly six
years,” the Global CEO of Devexperts commented for Finance Magnates.
“During his tenure, he was instrumental in driving growth and strengthening
client relationships on a global scale.”
Babushkin

Moore to Strengthen
Nordic Operations
Alongside
Mortimer, Devexperts also welcomed Peter Moore as VP of Sales and Business
Development, based in Helsinki and focusing on the Nordics and Scandinavian regions.
Moore
brings nearly 20 years of financial industry experience, beginning his career as an investment analyst and later as a portfolio manager at the London office of UBS.
Over the
years, he has also collaborated with companies such as Unfair Advantage and
Invesdor, and until recently, he served as Business Development Manager at
Holvi.
New Developments at
Devexperts
In April,
Devexperts enhanced its Latin American operations by partnering with nuam
exchange. This new alliance stems from the merging of the Lima, Santiago, and
Colombia Stock Exchanges, aiming to bolster equity and derivatives trading
across the region.
Furthermore,
Devexperts has completed a Type 2 SOC 2 audit, building upon the
completion of their Type 1 SOC 2 audit the previous year.
Additionally,
Devexperts announced a cross-integration of its DXtrade trading platform with
BizCuits, a provider of comprehensive trading and risk managementtools.
